SERIOUSLY??? When you read the title of this Department of Energy article, and THEN read the first line of the story – DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE?
The title of the article is, literally, “Carbon Pollution Being Captured, Stored and Used to Produce More Domestic Oil.”
And the first line of the story is “What if we could capture carbon dioxide waste from industrial plants and use it for something else – rather than have it contribute to air pollution?
Somebody, anybody, please tell me how that even makes sense in any possible way. Really. I want to work against my confirmation bias. Am I reading this wrong?
