Chevron’s proposed Consent Decree

I smell a rat. I hope I’m wrong because I still have a teensy, tiny, microscopic shred of hope in our government. But these were my first suspicions (originally posted on my Facebook page on November 9th).

Definitely something dodgy here, but it may be worse than I thought. Trying to get confirmation but in the meantime, here’s something that will have earned public comment in the next week or so:
